# ProductionCrate vs Finger Frame

The clearest difference is review sentiment: ProductionCrate at 59% against Finger Frame's 0%. ProductionCrate also leads on ratings volume (312 vs 5). Finger Frame's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 3.9). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ProductionCrate sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month and Finger Frame sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Finger Frame holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ProductionCrate has 312 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 59% of ProductionCrate's written reviews are positive against 0% of Finger Frame's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
