# InTools vs Feed Preview for IG

The clearest difference is review sentiment: InTools at 89% against Feed Preview for IG's 17%. InTools also leads on ratings volume (60 vs 1) and iOS requirement (14.1 vs 17.6). Feed Preview for IG's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. InTools sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Feed Preview for IG sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Feed Preview for IG holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: InTools has 60 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 89% of InTools's written reviews are positive against 17% of Feed Preview for IG's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

InTools ships an update every 2 weeks, Feed Preview for IG every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
