# Positive Affirmations. Affirm8 vs EBONY NOTES

The clearest difference is monetization model: EBONY NOTES at freemium against Positive Affirmations. Affirm8's subscription. EBONY NOTES also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 2 weeks) and review sentiment (91% vs 80%). Positive Affirmations. Affirm8's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (611 vs 17). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Positive Affirmations. Affirm8 sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and EBONY NOTES sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Positive Affirmations. Affirm8 holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Positive Affirmations. Affirm8 has 611 ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of Positive Affirmations. Affirm8's written reviews are positive against 91% of EBONY NOTES's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Positive Affirmations. Affirm8 ships an update every 2 weeks, EBONY NOTES weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
