# ModBox vs Red~Handed

The clearest difference is rating: Red~Handed at 5.0 against ModBox's 4.5. Red~Handed also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). ModBox's advantage is ratings volume (113K vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ModBox sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Red~Handed sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Red~Handed holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ModBox has 113K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
