# Safe+ vs Secrets

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Secrets at 188 against Safe+'s 4. Safe+'s advantage is iOS requirement (12.1 vs 15.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Safe+ sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and Secrets sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Safe+ holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Secrets has 188 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Safe+ ships an update monthly, Secrets every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
