# Porty vs Ntc

The clearest difference is rating: Ntc at 5.0 against Porty's 4.6. Ntc also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Porty's advantage is ratings volume (23 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Ntc holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Porty has 23 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Porty ships an update every 2 months, Ntc every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
