# CubeSuite vs NDI HX Camera

The clearest difference is rating: NDI HX Camera at 4.4 against CubeSuite's 2.1. NDI HX Camera also leads on ratings volume (530 vs 70). CubeSuite's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 months). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NDI HX Camera sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. CubeSuite asks for nothing beyond the download.

NDI HX Camera holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 2.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NDI HX Camera has 530 ratings behind it against 70, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 21% of CubeSuite's written reviews are positive against 11% of NDI HX Camera's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

CubeSuite ships an update every 2 weeks, NDI HX Camera every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
