# WormHole VPN vs GustVPN

The clearest difference is review sentiment: WormHole VPN at 100% against GustVPN's 40%. WormHole VPN also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). GustVPN's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 8 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WormHole VPN sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $12.99 per 7 days and GustVPN sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

WormHole VPN ships an update every 8 months, GustVPN every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
