# Espresso Pro vs Coffee Bean Tracker

The clearest difference is rating: Coffee Bean Tracker at 4.5 against Espresso Pro's 4.0. Espresso Pro's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and review sentiment (100% vs 67%). On price, ratings volume, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Coffee Bean Tracker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Espresso Pro asks for nothing beyond the download.

Coffee Bean Tracker holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 2 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Espresso Pro's written reviews are positive against 67% of Coffee Bean Tracker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Espresso Pro ships an update every 3 weeks, Coffee Bean Tracker every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
