# PWS Console vs Teapot for Tempest

The clearest difference is monetization model: PWS Console at freemium against Teapot for Tempest's subscription. Teapot for Tempest's advantage is review sentiment (55% vs 20%) and update cadence (every 8 days vs every 4 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PWS Console sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Teapot for Tempest sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
