# Trimlight Edge vs Greenpix

The clearest difference is rating: Trimlight Edge at 2.8 against Greenpix's 1.7. Trimlight Edge also leads on ratings volume (366 vs 18). Greenpix's advantage is review sentiment (33% vs 22%) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Trimlight Edge holds the better App Store score, 2.8 against 1.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Trimlight Edge has 366 ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 22% of Trimlight Edge's written reviews are positive against 33% of Greenpix's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Trimlight Edge ships an update every 2 months, Greenpix every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
