# Training for AWS vs THE GUIDE

The clearest difference is rating: Training for AWS at 4.6 against THE GUIDE's 2.7. Training for AWS also leads on ratings volume (917 vs 22) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Training for AWS sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per month and THE GUIDE sells 23 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Training for AWS holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Training for AWS has 917 ratings behind it against 22, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 22% of Training for AWS's written reviews are positive against 24% of THE GUIDE's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Training for AWS ships an update monthly, THE GUIDE every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
