# LSAT Prep vs Homework Turtle

The clearest difference is rating: Homework Turtle at 5.0 against LSAT Prep's 4.6. Homework Turtle also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 4 months). LSAT Prep's advantage is ratings volume (285 vs 3) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LSAT Prep sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per month and Homework Turtle sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Homework Turtle holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LSAT Prep has 285 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

LSAT Prep ships an update every 4 months, Homework Turtle every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
