# Samurai Search vs FindText

The clearest difference is rating: Samurai Search at 5.0 against FindText's 3.7. Samurai Search also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ratings volume (20 vs 3). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FindText sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Samurai Search asks for nothing beyond the download.

Samurai Search holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Samurai Search has 20 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.
