# GravyWork vs WAE

GravyWork and WAE both sit at 4.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of WAE's written reviews are positive against 68% of GravyWork's. GravyWork's advantage is ratings volume (255 vs 8). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for GravyWork against 4.5 for WAE. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GravyWork has 255 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 68% of GravyWork's written reviews are positive against 100% of WAE's.

GravyWork ships an update fortnightly, WAE every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
