# SMARTg Home vs QY Connect

The clearest difference is review sentiment: QY Connect at 50% against SMARTg Home's 0%. SMARTg Home's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (185 vs 3). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SMARTg Home holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SMARTg Home has 185 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of SMARTg Home's written reviews are positive against 50% of QY Connect's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
