# SmileCarPro vs VR

The clearest difference is update cadence: SmileCarPro at every 2 months against VR's every 12 months. SmileCarPro also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SmileCarPro ships an update every 2 months, VR every 12 months. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
