# KSBTECH vs ESET VPN

The clearest difference is monetization model: KSBTECH at free against ESET VPN's subscription. KSBTECH also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months) and review sentiment (58% vs 42%). ESET VPN's advantage is rating (4.3 vs 3.9). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ESET VPN holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.9. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 215 and 502 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 58% of KSBTECH's written reviews are positive against 42% of ESET VPN's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

KSBTECH ships an update every 3 weeks, ESET VPN every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
