# Printer App vs Bluetooth Thermal Printer App

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Printer App at 82% against Bluetooth Thermal Printer App's 43%. Printer App also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ratings volume (8.7K vs 240). Bluetooth Thermal Printer App's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months) and rating (4.8 vs 4.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Printer App sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Bluetooth Thermal Printer App sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Bluetooth Thermal Printer App holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Printer App has 8.7K ratings behind it against 240, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 82% of Printer App's written reviews are positive against 43% of Bluetooth Thermal Printer App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Printer App ships an update every 2 months, Bluetooth Thermal Printer App every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
