# Global Link Connect vs TBB Battery

The clearest difference is update cadence: TBB Battery at every 2 months against Global Link Connect's every 5 months. TBB Battery also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Global Link Connect ships an update every 5 months, TBB Battery every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
