# NewClock vs Flip Clock

The clearest difference is update cadence: Flip Clock at monthly against NewClock's every 11 months. NewClock's advantage is iOS requirement (15.2 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NewClock sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month and Flip Clock sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NewClock ships an update every 11 months, Flip Clock monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
