# Shape vs HiiTopia

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: HiiTopia at none against Shape's 16. HiiTopia also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17). Shape's advantage is ratings volume (1.7K vs 2) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Shape sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. HiiTopia asks for nothing beyond the download.

HiiTopia holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Shape has 1.7K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Shape ships an update every 3 weeks, HiiTopia every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
