# Shape vs Catalytic Explosion

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Catalytic Explosion at none against Shape's 16. Catalytic Explosion also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 77%) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Shape's advantage is ratings volume (1.7K vs 1) and iOS requirement (17 vs 26.5). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Shape sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Catalytic Explosion asks for nothing beyond the download.

Catalytic Explosion holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Shape has 1.7K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 77% of Shape's written reviews are positive against 100% of Catalytic Explosion's.
