# Subscriptions vs Suball

The clearest difference is rating: Suball at 5.0 against Subscriptions's 4.7. Suball also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 4 weeks). Subscriptions's advantage is ratings volume (172 vs 4) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Subscriptions sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per year and Suball sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Suball holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Subscriptions has 172 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of Subscriptions's written reviews are positive against 83% of Suball's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Subscriptions ships an update every 4 weeks, Suball weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
