# Subscriptions vs 订阅星

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: 订阅星 at none against Subscriptions's 4. 订阅星 also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). Subscriptions's advantage is ratings volume (172 vs 1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Subscriptions sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per year. 订阅星 asks for nothing beyond the download.

订阅星 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Subscriptions has 172 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
