# Mobile PDF Scanner vs HitProxy

The clearest difference is rating: Mobile PDF Scanner at 4.6 against HitProxy's 3.2. HitProxy's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4) and ads (none vs shown). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mobile PDF Scanner sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per 7 days. HitProxy asks for nothing beyond the download.

Mobile PDF Scanner holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HitProxy has 171 ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Mobile PDF Scanner's written reviews are positive against 45% of HitProxy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Mobile PDF Scanner ships an update every 27 months, HitProxy every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
