# PRO vs Tekmetric Mobile

The clearest difference is review sentiment: PRO at 100% against Tekmetric Mobile's 29%. PRO also leads on rating (4.8 vs 2.7) and monetization model (free vs subscription). Tekmetric Mobile's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 7 months) and ratings volume (60 vs 4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

PRO holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tekmetric Mobile has 60 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of PRO's written reviews are positive against 29% of Tekmetric Mobile's.

PRO ships an update every 7 months, Tekmetric Mobile every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
