# OLive Streaming vs PingFlix

The clearest difference is update cadence: PingFlix at every 5 weeks against OLive Streaming's every 6 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OLive Streaming sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and PingFlix sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 3 months. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

OLive Streaming ships an update every 6 months, PingFlix every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
