# Krystal vs foosackly’s

The clearest difference is review sentiment: foosackly’s at 69% against Krystal's 35%. Krystal's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 13 months) and ratings volume (15K vs 35). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Krystal holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Krystal has 15K ratings behind it against 35, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 35% of Krystal's written reviews are positive against 69% of foosackly’s's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Krystal ships an update every 2 months, foosackly’s every 13 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
