# Vixion Home vs HitProxy

The clearest difference is rating: Vixion Home at 5.0 against HitProxy's 3.2. Vixion Home also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). HitProxy's advantage is update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 25 months) and ratings volume (171 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Vixion Home holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HitProxy has 171 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of Vixion Home's written reviews are positive against 45% of HitProxy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Vixion Home ships an update every 25 months, HitProxy every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 8, 2026 and September 16, 2026 respectively.
