# Ellas TV Max vs MEGA TV

The clearest difference is update cadence: Ellas TV Max at every 6 weeks against MEGA TV's every 12 months. Ellas TV Max also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.2). MEGA TV's advantage is rating (3.6 vs 3.2). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MEGA TV holds the better App Store score, 3.6 against 3.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 16 and 24 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Ellas TV Max's written reviews are positive against 44% of MEGA TV's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Ellas TV Max ships an update every 6 weeks, MEGA TV every 12 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
