# Patterns vs Hunt Regs

The clearest difference is rating: Patterns at 5.0 against Hunt Regs's 3.3. Patterns also leads on iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.0). Hunt Regs's advantage is ratings volume (66 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Patterns sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Hunt Regs sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Patterns holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hunt Regs has 66 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
