# BbigTimer vs SmartPomo Timer

The clearest difference is update cadence: BbigTimer at every 5 weeks against SmartPomo Timer's every 5 months. BbigTimer also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BbigTimer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and SmartPomo Timer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BbigTimer ships an update every 5 weeks, SmartPomo Timer every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
