# Sadie Active vs Ampelis

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Ampelis at none against Sadie Active's 3. Sadie Active's advantage is ratings volume (1.2K vs 2) and update cadence (every 11 days vs monthly). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sadie Active sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Ampelis asks for nothing beyond the download.

Ampelis holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sadie Active has 1.2K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Sadie Active ships an update every 11 days, Ampelis monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
