# COB vs e

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: COB at none against e's 2. e's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (21 vs 2). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. e sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. COB asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for COB against 5.0 for e. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: e has 21 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

COB ships an update every 2 months, e every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
