# Work Log vs Timesheet & Activity Log

The clearest difference is rating: Work Log at 4.8 against Timesheet & Activity Log's 4.1. Work Log also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (4.5K vs 7). Timesheet & Activity Log's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 82%) and device support (5 vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Work Log sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Timesheet & Activity Log sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Work Log holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Work Log has 4.5K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 82% of Work Log's written reviews are positive against 100% of Timesheet & Activity Log's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Work Log ships an update every 10 days, Timesheet & Activity Log every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
