# Clean Kitchen vs ResX

The clearest difference is ads: Clean Kitchen at none against ResX's shown. Clean Kitchen also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 73%) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). ResX's advantage is ratings volume (609 vs 8) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Clean Kitchen sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and ResX sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ResX holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ResX has 609 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Clean Kitchen's written reviews are positive against 73% of ResX's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Clean Kitchen ships an update weekly, ResX every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 15, 2026.
