# Dresscode vs Dream Makeover

Dresscode and Dream Makeover both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Dresscode's written reviews are positive against 67% of Dream Makeover's. Dream Makeover's advantage is ratings volume (70 vs 13). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dresscode sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Dream Makeover sells 20 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Dresscode against 4.6 for Dream Makeover. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dream Makeover has 70 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 100% of Dresscode's written reviews are positive against 67% of Dream Makeover's.

Dresscode ships an update every 3 weeks, Dream Makeover monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
