# Odhan vs Primal

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Odhan at none against Primal's 5. Odhan also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 88%). Primal's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (928 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Primal sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Odhan asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Odhan against 4.9 for Primal. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Primal has 928 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 100% of Odhan's written reviews are positive against 88% of Primal's.

Odhan ships an update every 4 months, Primal every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
