# 4traders vs Chessflix

The clearest difference is rating: Chessflix at 5.0 against 4traders's 3.0. Chessflix also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1). 4traders's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 67%) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ratings volume, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 4traders sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $39.99 per month. Chessflix asks for nothing beyond the download.

Chessflix holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 1 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of 4traders's written reviews are positive against 67% of Chessflix's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

4traders ships an update every 3 weeks, Chessflix every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
