# UniFi Access vs ZynoTalk

The clearest difference is monetization model: UniFi Access at free against ZynoTalk's subscription. UniFi Access also leads on ratings volume (5.2K vs 1). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for UniFi Access against 5.0 for ZynoTalk. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: UniFi Access has 5.2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
