# starmoon vs INKBIRD

The clearest difference is ratings volume: INKBIRD at 7K against starmoon's 1. INKBIRD also leads on review sentiment (23% vs 0%) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). starmoon's advantage is rating (4.0 vs 3.7) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

starmoon holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: INKBIRD has 7K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of starmoon's written reviews are positive against 23% of INKBIRD's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

starmoon ships an update every 2 months, INKBIRD fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 8, 2026 respectively.
