# The Elder Scrolls Map vs Elden Slider

The clearest difference is rating: The Elder Scrolls Map at 4.7 against Elden Slider's 3.8. The Elder Scrolls Map also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (1.2K vs 6). Elden Slider's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 5) and review sentiment (100% vs 67%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The Elder Scrolls Map sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 3 months. Elden Slider asks for nothing beyond the download.

The Elder Scrolls Map holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The Elder Scrolls Map has 1.2K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of The Elder Scrolls Map's written reviews are positive against 100% of Elden Slider's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

The Elder Scrolls Map ships an update every 2 weeks, Elden Slider every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
