# The Elder Scrolls Map vs Perkeo

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Perkeo at none against The Elder Scrolls Map's 5. Perkeo also leads on review sentiment (83% vs 67%). The Elder Scrolls Map's advantage is ratings volume (1.2K vs 9) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The Elder Scrolls Map sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 3 months. Perkeo asks for nothing beyond the download.

The Elder Scrolls Map holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The Elder Scrolls Map has 1.2K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of The Elder Scrolls Map's written reviews are positive against 83% of Perkeo's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

The Elder Scrolls Map ships an update every 2 weeks, Perkeo every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
