# The Elder Scrolls Map vs KidCard

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: KidCard at none against The Elder Scrolls Map's 5. KidCard also leads on update cadence (daily vs every 2 weeks) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). The Elder Scrolls Map's advantage is ratings volume (1.3K vs 1). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The Elder Scrolls Map sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 3 months. KidCard asks for nothing beyond the download.

KidCard holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The Elder Scrolls Map has 1.3K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

The Elder Scrolls Map ships an update every 2 weeks, KidCard daily. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
