# The Elder Scrolls Map vs Skyllector

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Skyllector at 100% against The Elder Scrolls Map's 67%. The Elder Scrolls Map's advantage is ratings volume (1.2K vs 6) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The Elder Scrolls Map sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 3 months and Skyllector sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

The Elder Scrolls Map holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The Elder Scrolls Map has 1.2K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of The Elder Scrolls Map's written reviews are positive against 100% of Skyllector's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

The Elder Scrolls Map ships an update every 2 weeks, Skyllector every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
