# Etopya vs Bites

The clearest difference is rating: Bites at 4.6 against Etopya's 2.5. Bites also leads on ratings volume (2.2K vs 2) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). Etopya's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bites sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Etopya asks for nothing beyond the download.
