# MacStrength Training vs Forma

The clearest difference is update cadence: Forma at every 3 days against MacStrength Training's every 26 months. MacStrength Training's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MacStrength Training sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Forma sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
