# Mem vs WalkWrite

The clearest difference is rating: WalkWrite at 5.0 against Mem's 4.4. Mem's advantage is ratings volume (129 vs 2). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mem sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.00 per month and WalkWrite sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

WalkWrite holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mem has 129 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Mem ships an update every 3 days, WalkWrite every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
