# AggreLog vs WriterAide

The clearest difference is update cadence: AggreLog at every 3 weeks against WriterAide's every 4 months. AggreLog also leads on iOS requirement (14.2 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AggreLog sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.49 per month and WriterAide sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AggreLog ships an update every 3 weeks, WriterAide every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and September 19, 2026 respectively.
